Experiences
In this section, you will learn more about my work experiences throughout college, and what they have taught me. These experiences are a few out of many that have shown me some valuable things from college.
Indiana University School of Dentristy
I started working at the school of Dentistry in March of 2023. As a clinic cashier, I help process patient payments and insurance payments. The biggest thing that the school of Dentistry has taught me is how insurance payments are processed. Learning that since people have different insurances, everyone gets billed differently, and depending on the procedure, it depends on how much insurance will cover.
Indiana University Research Assistant
When I was research assistant, I worked at Saxony Hospital, where I was working with providers to help diagnose whether or not patients have early signs of cognitive disorders. Being at this job really opened my eyes as to what happens on the day to day at a clinic and it was very insightful to learn about the behind the scenes when it comes to seeing a doctor.
