Capstone Internship 

I interned at the Indiana Immunization Coalition  

I have acquired many skills from this internship! I have definitely strengthened my Excel skills and learning how to navigat the program. I have strengthened my interpersonal skills amongst my coworkers. I have helped the organization be more efficient when it comes to the workflow of adminstering vaccination. I believe that time managemtn skills is something I need to grow in, and finding more efficient ways to get tasks done. 

During my time at the Indiana Immunization Coalition, I worked on a fundrasing project. The Coalition had a silent auction, and I was the main point of contact to sponsors. Whether that be reaching out for donations, or if sponsors had any questions, they could reach out to me.

One class in paticular (Leadership Disputes and Conflict Resolutions in Healthcare) has really come in handy when it comes to my internship. That class taught me that conflict will always be normal, but how you handle that conflict is what determines whether or not you are fit to be a leader. I have seen how coworkers handle conflict, and the best way to go about it. I, myself, have also had to certain conflicts by using certains strategies that I learned in that class. The class does stick with me in how I handle situations at work.
